charming hotel with easy access to many attractions
I loved staying here because it was just a few steps from the Belfry and Burg Square, and the good breakfast with a wide variety made for a perfect start to the day. The staff were helpful, providing maps and local insight to enhance my city strolls, although I would have liked bigger towels in the bathroom.

Very good location, very good breakfast. Efficient personnel. Daily fresh water at the room, apples for free withdrawal. Historical ambience.
The dust has occasionally been left under the beds. Modern, but unfortunately not very practical bathroom (especially the washbasin). Unfortunately, a small private cushion that I brought with me disappeared during the room cleaning and did not show up again.

Canal view rooms offer fine scenery. The Wi-Fi connection barely worked, frustrating for planning bike tours. Breakfast options included delicious local specialties.

The warmth, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. The decor and ambience are simply wonderful. On our last trip to Brugge we stayed at the Walberg Hotel (now closed) which was more expensive but we prefer the Hotel de Orangerie and will most definitely return.

Unique hotel, with excellent service. The room was spacious and expensively decorated/furnished. This hotel pays attention to detail and offers extra friendly but professional service. The breakfast, which included a glass of champagne (which we did not know about until asked by our waitress), was excellent. It is in a great location and sits next to the canal. The lovely sitting room has an open fire, which was always lit. Overall a very good hotel, although quite expensive, to me it was worth every penny. I would definitely recommend it and return to this fabulous city and hotel again.
Although we did not eat at the hotel in the evening, it would have been better if they offered a gourmet dinner.

The canal view from the room was fine. Breakfast was an elaborate buffet with made-to-order options, perfectly fueling our exploration of the area. While the cobblestone streets to the hotel can be challenging with luggage, the central location made it easy to access all attractions. The staff were genuinely friendly and provided complimentary drinks and snacks upon arrival.

This hotel is romantic, has very friendly staff and a hot breakfast. The rooms are tastefully decorated and brand-new and have attractive view of the cathedral. Its location is unbeatable, close to a Bruges city hall.
